 Method 1:  (a+b+c+d)^2 => 

   Let the term a+b =  A and c+d = B   ……………… (1)

ð  Now (a+b+c+d)^2  will be  =  (A+B)^2
ð   (A+B)^2  =  A^2 +B^2 + 2AB              ……………..(2)  
 
 Put the value of A &B of Equation (1) in Equation (2)
ð  A^2 +B^2 + 2AB  = (a+b)^2  + (c+d)^2  + 2 (a+b)(c+d)
ð  a^2 + 2ab +b^2  + c^2 +2cd + d^2  +2(ac +ad +bc + bd )
ð  a^2 + 2ab +b^2  + c^2 + 2cd + d^2  + 2ac + 2ad + 2bc + 2bd
ð  a^2 +b^2  + c^2 + d^2 + 2ab +2ac + 2ad + 2bc+ 2bd  + 2cd  

Method 2:  Direct Multiplication a+b+c+d whole square

ð  (a+b+c+d)^2 =  (a+b+c+d)x (a+b+c+d)
ð  a^2 +ab + ac+ ad + ab + b^2 + bc + bd + ac + bc + c^2 + cd + ad + bd + cd + d^2
ð  a^2 +b^2  + c^2 + d^2 + 2ab + 2ac + 2ad + 2bc + 2bd + 2cd
ð  a^2 +b^2  + c^2 + d^2 +2( ab + ac + ad + bc + bd + cd )
